About Me

Hi! I'm Riley, the founder of Dog Walkers of Glen Allen.

My love for animals started at a young age when we adopted our first family pet, a black cat named Odie, from a family friend when I was about 6 years old.

Growing up I was also lucky enough to have two amazing dogs, Nellie and Oreo (pictured here), who taught me the joy and responsibility of caring for puppies, growing dogs, and eventually elderly animals before they both moved on to a better place after over a decade of love from myself and my family.

Then in 2020, my family adopted a charismatic little chihuahua-pitbull mix puppy named Arlo. He is always happy to play around in the backyard and loves to make new friends, whether that be humans or other animals!

After spending a few years working as an accountant and then eventually an account manager, I finally decided to follow my true passion of working with animals. With my background in pet care combined with the attention to detail that grew with my accounting role, I am confident that I can provide your pets the love and care they deserve while also giving you the peace of mind you need as their owner.
